I am absolutely passionately mad about my craft. I believe in making cakes that deliver on looks as well as taste.
The motto for my cakes has always been to be gorgeous by taste and style:)
After winning The National Cupcake Championships 2013 as a home baker and being awarded my trophy by Mary Berry, the queen of baking herself, I got the confirmation I needed to start up my very own baking venture (You can view the pictures below)
I love to work individually with each of my clients to design the cake of their dreams that is personal and unique to them inside & out.
We currently offer 34 varieties of cake flavours. If there are any flavours you would like that are not on our list, please do let us know and we will do our best to create one for you. Please note that Traditional Fruit cake requires 3 months advance notice as it needs to be matured for flavour.
Cake Covering
We offer three types of covering. Fondant, Buttercream and Ganache.
Fondant is the White icing (also called sugarpaste) that is most commonly used to cover cakes. It is a richly sweet covering. It is very versatile and stable so your cake can be decorated in lots of different ways.
Buttercream Icing is a soft icing that is used to cover cakes. We use a very special buttercream recipe for all our cake filling and covering that is less sweet and melts in your mouth like ice cream!
However buttercream icing is not so versatile so decorating options are very limited and it is not very stable for a long time under light and/or heat.
A buttercream cake can be decorated with sugar flowers to make it look as spectacular as it tastes.
A Chocolate Ganache covering is also available. This behaves like buttercream. It goes perfectly with any of our chocolate cake bases and makes the ultimate chocoholic cake.
Design
We will design your cake as you like, so it is unique and special to you and and your event.
We currently offer round and square cakes as standard. Custom shaped cakes cakes are also available. Please enquire for more details
We offer 6, 8, 10 and 12 inch cakes. Most cakes are roughly 3 inches deep with two fillings. A rough serving guide is given beside. We also make wedding & celebration cupcakes.
Your cakes will be made to fit in with the colour theme of your event. If there is a specific colour or design you want to incorporate into your cake design, please let us know and we will do our best to match it on your cake.
